PopUp Art School Watercolor Pears

Registration opens May 13.

Learn to paint a beautiful pear still life with a video from Pop Up Art School using the wet-on-wet technique. Add paint to wet paper and watch the colors mingle together to create the texture of a pear. Step-by-step you'll learn how to mix the pigment, apply the paint to the paper and how to create highlights and shadows. Templates of pears will be available for tracing. Beginners welcome!

Join a Watch & Paint party with others at the library on June 13 or pick up a kit starting May 20 and paint at home! The video is available through June 18. You will be emailed the video link.

Kits will be provided, but students will need to gather some household items like paper towels and cups of water. A list will be included in your kit.
