In connection with the Maynard Book Festival, the art of local picture-book illustrators Priscilla Alpaugh, Chris Beatrice, Sarah Brannen, and Ioana Hobai will be on exhibit in the Library’s Roosevelt Room March 6 through April 22.

The artists in this exhibit are all part of the Greater Boston Illustrators’ Group, which is part of the New England Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (NESCBWI).

The work featured in this exhibition is from published and soon-to-be-published books, and some of the books themselves will be available for viewing. Viewers will gain some understanding of how these artists make their art. Two of the artists use exclusively traditional media, one exclusively digital media, and one a combination of the two. 

The exhibition is available for viewing whenever the library is open and the Roosevelt Room is not in use for an event. Please check the library event calendar for availability.
