Bill Gette, Founding Director of Mass Audubon’s Joppa Flats Education Center and Past President of the Friends of Parker River National Wildlife Refuge, traveled to Wyoming to explore two of the nation’s most spectacular national parks: Grand Teton and Yellowstone. During his PowerPoint presentation, Bill will show his photographs and describe the areas he visited and the wildlife he encountered. You will see the magnificent landscapes of the Teton Mountains (sharp, rugged mountains that seem to jump out of the surrounding landscape) and Yellowstone with its amazing thermal features at West Thumb, the Old Faithful area, and Mammoth Hot Springs. Bill will also show you photographs of the many birds and the magnificent large mammals he found, including Moose, Bison, Elk, Pronghorn, and Big Horn Sheep.
