Bill Gette has led seven natural history travel programs to Alaska. His favorite itinerary includes visits to the Anchorage area, the gold rush town of Nome on the Seward Peninsula, world-renowned Denali National Park, and the Kenai Peninsula. Bill will take you on a photographic adventure through the Seward Peninsula where he will show you photographs of historic gold mining operations, Muskox, Long-tailed Jaeger, Short-eared Owl, and Red-necked Phalarope. In Denali National Park, he’ll take you for a virtual hike across the tundra and show you magnificent wildflowers, Caribou, and Brown (Grizzly) Bear. On the Kenai Peninsula, Bill will share his close encounters with Bald Eagles, Sea Otters, Humpback Whales, Dall’s Porpoises, and Killer Whales.
