High Notes: An Interactive Concert for All Ages - families and seniors welcome
Listen, sing and dance to classical flute music
You will not hear a squeak
You will not hear a toot
But you'll get to hear great music
Played by a classic flute!
Have you ever heard a flute sound like a train? What about someone singing just like a bird? High Notes presents a concert of classical music the whole family can enjoy! Presented in an engaging and interactive environment, people of all ages are welcome to move, dance, and enjoy the music in their own way. The hour performance will include music from composers throughout history all the way to contemporary compositions. Music to be performed by Beth Sterling, soprano, and Jessica Smith, flute, accompanied by Michelle Madasamy, piano.
This program is funded in part by a grant from the Maynard Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
